About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify clients' needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Providing evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, to help clients manage a range of mental health conditions
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for clients
  • Contributing to the development and evaluation of mental health programs and services
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (Adult: Clinical, Rehabilitation and/or Neuropsychology)
  • Individual professional liability insurance
Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based treatments
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Experience with telehealth/virtual care methods
