About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fruit Farming Labourer to join our team at Royalview Orchards Limited. As a Fruit Farming Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to fruit and vegetable farming, including clearing and collecting brush and debris, grading produce, and training trees to produce high-quality fruit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clearing and Collecting: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
  • Produce Grading: Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market.
  • Tree Training: Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
  • Weeding: Perform weeding tasks to maintain the health and productivity of the farm.
  • Harvesting: Harvest crops in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cutting: Cut horticultural crops as required.
Work Environment

The Fruit Farming Labourer will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and physically demanding conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to distinguish between colors.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 60 to 70 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Seasonal.
