Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Sagittarius Cargo Services.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Organize and coordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports to management
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
  • Train and supervise staff in duties and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The Logistics Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and heavy workloads. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and management.

Security and Safety:

The Logistics Coordinator will be required to undergo a criminal record check and maintain a high level of security and safety awareness.

Physical Demands:

The Logistics Coordinator will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
