Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Mr. Mike's Steakhouse & Bar. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a kitchen environment and be able to work well under pressure. You will be required to maintain a clean and safe working environment, as well as train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Ability to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to stand for extended periods. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a team environment.
