Role Overview: The Customer Experience Supervisor is responsible for fostering a customer-focused shopping atmosphere by overseeing and executing efficient front-end operations. This position plays a key role in leading omnichannel initiatives and ensuring that store recovery standards align with our Brand Promises. The supervisor will provide exceptional customer service and assist the Store Manager in enforcing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all front-end policies and procedures are strictly followed.
  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and guide the team to meet their individual KPIs.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of in-store events and classes in line with company programs.
  • Manage shrinkage and safety initiatives effectively.
  • Assist with cash handling and bank deposit processes.
  • Support inventory management, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Coach and mentor the customer experience team, participating in performance evaluations and supporting talent development.
  • Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.
  • Engage with customers in a respectful and positive manner, providing assistance in locating products and offering solutions.
  • Participate in stock unloading and organization to maintain truck standards.
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in retail management is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching activities. Must be capable of lifting heavy items and accessing high shelves using ladders or similar equipment. If assistance is needed to perform these essential functions, please reach out to your supervisor for potential accommodations.

Work Environment:

This role is situated in a public retail setting, providing service to customers in climate-controlled areas, with some stock rooms potentially lacking climate control. Outdoor work may be required for tasks such as retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The framing shop includes specialized equipment such as glass cutters and heat presses, and work hours will include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

Additional Information:

Applicants must meet all federal, provincial, and local legal requirements for employment.

Compensation: The total base pay range for this position is $28.50.
