Role Overview:
Distinctive HR Group Inc is looking for a dedicated Mechanical Engineering Associate to enhance our established engineering practice. In this role, you will be integral in aligning with our strategic objectives, ensuring that our clients receive outstanding service and superior design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Engagement & Business Growth:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
    • Proactively seek and develop new business avenues.
    • Support marketing initiatives and client outreach efforts.
  2. Project Oversight:
    • Manage and supervise mechanical engineering projects of various scopes.
    • Evaluate design proposals and specifications to deliver cost-effective solutions.
    • Ensure high-quality service delivery and mentor team members.
  3. Leadership & Development:
    1. Guide and mentor Mechanical Designers, Engineers, and Project Coordinators.
    2. Participate in recruitment, training, and performance assessment processes.
  4. Administrative Responsibilities:
  5. Oversee daily project operations and meet critical deadlines.
  6. Manage quality assurance and cost control during design and execution phases.
  7. Draft proposals for additional services and secure client approval prior to commencing new tasks.
  8. Financial Oversight:
    1. Manage project budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
    2. Address work in progress and additional service needs as they arise.
  9. Performance Objectives:
    1. Achieve business development targets and maintain existing client accounts.
    2. Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery and high client satisfaction.
    3. Optimize billable hours to achieve a target utilization rate.
  10. Professional Growth:
    1. Complete a minimum of 30 hours of professional development each year.
    2. Obtain relevant professional certifications as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in delivering profitable projects.
