Responsibilities:

  • Drive from our office to various carpet cleaning job sites to provide top-notch cleaning services.
  • Conduct thorough pre-inspections of carpets to determine the most effective cleaning method.
  • Perform carpet cleaning using various techniques, such as hot water extraction, depending on the carpet type and condition.
  • Utilize professional carpet cleaning equipment and tools to remove stains, dirt, and allergens effectively.
  • Treat and remove spots, spills, and odors from carpets.
  • Move furniture and other objects as needed to facilitate carpet cleaning.
  • Apply carpet protectors and deodorizers to enhance and prolong the cleanliness of carpets.
  • Inspect carpets post-cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety guidelines.
  • Keep accurate records of services performed, collect payments, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in professional carpet cleaning or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. A positive attitude and friendly personality are more important.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality results.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of different carpet types, cleaning techniques, and cleaning solutions is an asset, but we will train.
  • Familiarity with carpet cleaning equipment, including extractors, steam cleaners, and dry cleaning machines.
  • Understanding of stain removal techniques and products.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and move furniture as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Wages will depend on experience, but starting salary will range from $16-$20 per hour.
  • Wages paid bi-weekly via direct deposit.
