Cleaning Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Smiths Falls Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain our high standards.
- Coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
- Recommend additional services, such as painting or repairs, to maintain the appearance and functionality of our facilities.
- Assist cleaning staff with their duties as needed and provide guidance on best practices.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
