As a vital part of the Test Department at Evertz, you will engage in the manufacturing process by evaluating our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and assess the latest equipment used in film, television, and telecommunications, utilizing the most sophisticated components in the industry.
  • Configure and operate both specialized and standard testing apparatus to diagnose, evaluate, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems for efficiency, dependability, and usability.
  • Document and communicate test findings accurately.
  • Deliver training to colleagues on technical processes and assembly techniques.
  • Design, operate, and enhance testing jigs.
  • Contribute to the timely delivery of high-quality products to our clientele.
  • Identify and rectify issues down to the component level.
  • Adhere to established procedures and protocols related to testing and troubleshooting, including Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and AS/400 systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong manual dexterity and proficiency with testing and measuring instruments.
  • Capability to identify and resolve root causes of equipment and product/process-related failures.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • A preference for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
