About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Advisor to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our information security group, you will play a critical role in helping our technology and business stakeholders meet security goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consulting: Utilize your expertise to review and interpret requirements documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution designs to identify potential risks and provide recommendations to enhance our information security landscape.
  • Communication: Build and present documentation to executive management to communicate potential risks and provide recommendations. Provide feedback to and participate in the design and implementation of security assessment processes across the organization.
  • Delivery and Execution: Help execute detailed threat risk and information security assessments, deviations, coordination of penetration testing and reporting. Establish priorities specific to information security duties and conduct Threat Models.
Requirements
  • Experience in Information Security, Threat-risk assessments, Vulnerability & Penetration testing, and application security development projects.
  • Familiarity with retail bank ecosystem and Cloud Computing technologies.
  • Exposure to Agile Development processes, and certifications in CISSP, Offensive Security/CEH, CASE-E-Council or CSSLP is an asset.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and trends.
