Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Program Governance Manager to join our team. This role is designed for a proactive individual who will collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful governance and oversight of our Data Engineering Finance Data Quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Program Governance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the Data Engineering project portfolio, working closely with finance and technology teams to prioritize initiatives and maintain transparency regarding project progress.
  • Assisting in the creation of analytical reports, impactful presentations, and meeting materials to engage stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop strategic guidance for execution teams.
  • Engaging with technology teams and regulatory groups to facilitate executive reporting and oversight in various forums.
  • Supporting governance efforts and managing technology-related issue resolution teams.
  • Preparing materials and leading discussions that represent the interests of the Finance Data Quality Program, ensuring clear documentation of outcomes and action items.
  • Participating in regular governance meetings to ensure effective execution of initiatives.
  • Communicating effectively with diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Assisting with departmental activities and administrative tasks in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Fostering strong partnerships and ensuring high-quality deliverables through seamless engagement and communication.
  • Working with other departments to identify optimal solutions and decisions.
  • Supporting the Program lead in assessing risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned, including:
    • Contributing to program-related communication and analytics.
    • Developing process documentation and training materials as needed.
    • Creating guidance documents and proposals to secure stakeholder approval.
    • Preparing updates and reports for stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, with experience in developing presentations for management.
  • Understanding of US Financial Regulatory reporting processes.
  • Basic knowledge of data governance principles and data quality controls.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a strong motivation to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable skills include process mapping, consulting, and proficiency in Excel/SQL.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality work.
  • A collaborative approach and organizational skills.
  • Experience working on projects with stakeholders across various departments.

Education and Experience:
Candidates should have:
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial services, consulting, or technology, particularly in business process management or data management.
  • Experience with regulatory projects or audits is a plus, but not mandatory.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with a Master’s degree being a potential advantage.
