As a Strategic Development Program Trainee at EMCO Corporation, you will embark on a comprehensive 5-phase program designed to equip you with in-depth knowledge of our business operations. This includes shipping and receiving, sales, operations, purchasing, account management, and other essential aspects of our wholesale distribution and sales processes.
Phase 1: Warehouse Logistics
- Gain hands-on experience in our warehouse, learning about the products we sell, their supply chain, and sales support.
Phase 2: Counter Sales, Customer Service, and Operations
- Develop skills in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory control, pricing, credit management, financial statements, and more.
Phase 3: Inside Sales/Project Management
- Evolve from assisting customers with product and service issues to managing larger-scale projects, including purchasing, pricing, and various projects.
Phase 4: Outside Sales/Account Management
- Learn how to identify new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
Phase 5: Career Advancement
- Utilize your training to determine your ideal career path within EMCO Corporation.
Qualifications
- College and/or University degree
- Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
- Desire to continuously learn and grow
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
