We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at HYGGE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INC. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record-Keeping
- Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and other financial reports.
- Financial Analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions.
- Accounting and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents as required.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate financial information to management and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and QuickBooks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Work Schedule
- 30 hours per week.
- Language
- English.
