Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Montana's BBQ & Bar. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure that they are informed of key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a busy restaurant setting.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and strong communication skills to ensure excellent customer service.
    • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 kg.
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Willingness to relocate to a new location.
