We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to residents of extended care and long-term care houses within the Yellowknife Region.
As a Relief Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psycho-social needs are met. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and make informed decisions to promote resident well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established standards of nursing practice and the philosophy of the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Triaging residents who require medical attention and making decisions regarding physician consultations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Experience in a Long-Term Care facility is considered an asset.
