Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee staff including apprentices, trainees, and design teams.
  • Delegate tasks to sales personnel.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff members.
  • Manage merchandise orders and returns.
  • Establish and manage work schedules.
  • Engage in sales activities.
  • Compile reports on sales performance, merchandising, and personnel issues.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and supply challenges.
  • Organize and maintain inventory effectively.
  • Coordinate activities of team members.
Supervision

Responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 individuals, including cashiers and retail sales staff.

Exhibit and Display Design

Experience in merchandising or window displays and visual merchandising is required.

Work Conditions

The role involves a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring the handling of heavy loads and a keen attention to detail. The job entails a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
