About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at D Alliance Motors. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Identify and diagnose faults and malfunctions in mechanical units, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Estimation and Reporting: Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Training and Development: Coach and instruct apprentices in the maintenance and repair of commercial transport vehicles.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and driving record check (abstract) required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, judgment, reliability, and a team player attitude.
