Job Summary:

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Cashier. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating point of sale equipment efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate point of sale equipment accurately and efficiently
• Process customer transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit payments
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays and stock levels
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
