Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the scrap yard, including the management of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all scrap materials meet our quality standards and are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the scrap yard, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in scrap processing, with a strong background in operations management and leadership.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety management, accounting, and industrial relations.
