Aversan Inc. is a reputable Engineering Company that provides Engineering expertise in the Aerospace and Defense industry. We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for our client located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare materials for welding using various processes, including chemical etching and precision cutting.
- Perform drill press operations, including drilling, tapping, and reading to drawing specifications.
- Install bushings and bearings, helicoils, and rivets with high precision and accuracy.
- Set up and test assembled products as required by test procedures.
- Operate brake press, punch press, drills, shear, and saws with efficiency and safety.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial fabricating/fitting experience or assembly experience with the ability to assemble complex, high-precision machined components to drawing requirements.
- Ability to read and work from work orders and engineering drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in operating forklifts, overhead cranes, plate clamps, slings, and chains.
- Experience working with precision tools, including height gauges, dial indicators, steel squares, tape rules, angle plates, layout tables, micrometers, and verniers.
- Proficient in the use of electric and pneumatic tools, riveting tools, helicoil insert tools, tapping machines, bench grinders, circular saws, jig saws, portable nibblers, band saws, and cut-off saws.
