Job Title: Insulation Helper

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Helper to join our team at Celluloseman, Inc. as a permanent employee.

Job Summary:

The Insulation Helper will assist in the installation of insulation materials, load and unload construction materials, and perform pre-operational inspections. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work at heights, and have experience with heavy loads.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation
Requirements:
  • Will train
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
Work Environment:

The Insulation Helper will work outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Insulation Helper will work 40 hours per week.
