About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our Cyber Security and Digital Solutions team. As a Technical Architect, you will design, implement, and deliver secure digital identity services for the Province of Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure digital identity services using Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Active Directory, and other cloud security solutions.
  • Provide specialized advice and training to users on leveraging directory, identity management, federation, and public key infrastructure services.
  • Work with customers, business, and technology teams to drive identity-based initiatives through the project lifecycle stages.
  • Advise the business and service leadership teams on key architectural decisions, including the adoption of new technologies.
  • Ensure deployment, maintenance, security, availability, performance, improvement, and enhancement of the digital identity infrastructure.
  • Implement corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cloud security, identity, and access management.
  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Defender/Advanced Threat Protection.
  • Implementing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Active Directory, and other cloud security solutions.
