Technical Solutions Architect

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) at Amazon works closely with customers to identify and solve complex business problems. As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will be part of a team that helps customers build and execute go-to-market plans that leverage AWS services.

Our team is made up of specialists with deep technology expertise who help drive innovation and growth. We are responsible for account planning, opportunity identification, and pursuit, and we stay closely connected to our customers to bring valuable data and insights to our product teams.

As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects. You will work closely with customers to understand their technical objectives and provide deep technical expertise in your domain to advance adoption of AWS products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading architectural reviews and workshops to advance customer technical objectives
  • Educating customers on the value proposition of AWS and participating in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Providing data and anecdotes on what is working and what is not back to the larger specialist community and product teams
  • Acting as primary point of contact for urgent customer issues in your technical specialty

We are looking for someone with 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing distributed applications, as well as 5+ years of experience managing technical, customer-facing resources. You should have a strong background in building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions, and experience with scripting/coding languages such as Python, Java, C#, or.NET. A history of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises is also highly desirable.
