About the Role

AWA-TECH WATERPROOFING & ROOFING is seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Repair Roofing Systems: Install new roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles. Repair and replace existing roofing systems as needed.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards.
  • Supervise and Train: Supervise and train other workers, including apprentices, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to complete roofing projects safely and efficiently.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Estimate costs and materials needed for roofing projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Work Safely: Work safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in roofing or a related field
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
