Substitute Educational Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substitute Educational Assistant to support students with special needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with special needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Take on responsibilities of educational assistants in their absence, working closely with classroom teachers under their direct supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, colleagues, and students to ensure a smooth and supportive learning experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of students and school personnel.
  • Adhere to and support Division and school policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the classroom teacher and principal.
Requirements:
  • Recent and clean Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Recent and clean Child and Welfare Intervention Check.
  • Valid Social Insurance Number in the current legal name.
