About the Role

At Intact Financial Corporation, we're seeking a talented Front-end Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the development team to design, code, and test new features of our policy management system.
  • Work with our development team to resolve issues and improve the overall user experience.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end code, ensuring seamless integration with our back-end systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least one academic internship or co-op experience.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming and experience with Spring Boot, Angular, and React.
  • Knowledge of development design patterns and the SCRUM Agile methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism (French-English) is a must, as you'll interact regularly with colleagues from across the country.
