Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Definition: Collaborate with project sponsors and subject matter experts to define project scope and objectives.
  • Project Planning: Develop a detailed project plan, identifying and sequencing activities necessary to achieve project goals.
  • Project Execution: Execute projects according to the project plan, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Financial Management: Manage project financials, ensuring accurate invoicing and budget documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Decision Making: Facilitate, debate, and guide decisions on appropriate solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and enablers to gain efficiencies.
  • Communication: Provide high-quality communication to stakeholders, executives, and team members, ensuring timely project status reporting.
  • Lessons Learned: Conduct lessons learned for each project, demonstrating continuous improvement and driving business change.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Ability to translate and communicate complex issues and their resolution to stakeholders and senior management
  • Experience with management of projects related to Data Center infrastructure, Cloud Computing, and Networking
  • Understanding of high-level technical architecture
  • Ability to liaise with technical and non-technical staff
  • Organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and outstanding influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • PMP Designation

This is a minimum 12-month contract with likely extension, located in downtown Toronto (work from home until deemed safe).
