Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **Electrical Apprentice** to join our team at **Weather On Demand**. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in the electrical field while contributing to various projects.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a **Secondary (high) school graduation certificate** is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install underground wiring and cables efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate reports and documentation related to maintenance.
  • Design and construct single-phase service for installations involving single or multiple meters.
  • Choose suitable materials and methods for work in hazardous environments.
  • Troubleshoot and identify faults in electrical systems.
  • Install surface-mounted and/or overhead cabling.
  • Provide instruction to apprentices in the field.
  • Set up power generation systems, including stand-by and power conditioning systems.
  • Oversee the work of other team members.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience ranging from **1 to less than 7 months** is preferred.
  • This is a **Permanent** position.
  • Working language is **English**.
  • Work hours are set at **30 hours per week**.
