Position Overview

The Vice President of Human Resources will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture and driving strategic initiatives at Pacific Coast Cedar Products Ltd. This leadership position requires a strong focus on human capital management and organizational development.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a senior HR role, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the allocation of resources to effectively implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions.
  • Coordinate activities across various regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, and approve promotional campaigns and overall HR planning.
  • Set organizational objectives and formulate or approve relevant policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, or delegate representatives as necessary.
  • Select and empower middle managers and directors, ensuring optimal working conditions.
  • Lead recruitment and selection processes for staffing needs.
  • Develop and implement human resource planning and development strategies.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Office is essential for this role.
