Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist I to join our Analytical Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing analytical support for our site cleaning verification program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze samples using HPLC, UPLC, and mass spectroscopy techniques.
  • Document experimental data in accordance with ALCOA principles.
  • Independently carry out analytical testing following established procedures and SOPs.
  • Perform swab sampling on manufacturing equipment.
  • Work proficiently with Empower, NuGenesis, MS Word, and Excel software.
  • Recognize and report unexpected or out-of-specification results to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a science-related environment.
  • Good understanding of basic chemistry and laboratory equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of chromatographic separations and qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination. The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for prolonged periods is necessary. The position also requires the ability to lift, carry, and move light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds.

Safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, latex or similar gloves, and safety apron are required. An organic respirator may be necessary in certain situations.
