We are seeking a highly skilled Prime Therapist to join our team at Ravensview, a leading mental health and addiction treatment center in Canada. As a Prime Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with clients and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and ensure continuity of care
- Promote and support team members in their professional practice
- Provide consultation and training to team members in specific areas of expertise
- Liaise with referral sources and provide written progress reports
- Support client discharge planning and coordinate outpatient counseling and referrals
- Advocate for clients to promote self-advocacy and develop safety plans
- Provide supervision and learning experiences for students
- Master's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling)
- Registration with a professional body in the province of BC
- Training and familiarity with CBT, DBT, CPT, and mindfulness modalities
- Knowledge of addictions and mental health continuum of care
- Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality guidelines and ethical therapeutic relationships
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
