We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at DKM Millwork Design Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality finishes.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Operate hand tools and other equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- 2 years of experience in the field, with a strong foundation in carpentry and woodworking techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing project demands.
