Position Overview

Torbill Holdings Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Accounting Technician to manage financial documentation and support our accounting operations.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience is required.
Work Environment
  • Office-based role within the head office.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and balance financial records across various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
  • Record journal entries accurately.
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Prepare trial balances for review.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in accounts.
  • Execute basic bookkeeping functions.
  • Process payments through cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
Technical Proficiencies
  • Familiarity with database software.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office.
  • Experience with Yardi system is an asset.
