Job Title: Cloud Storage Engineer

Highbrow LLC is seeking a skilled Cloud Storage Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud storage solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and engineer cloud storage solutions to meet client requirements
  • Develop automation scripts to deploy and configure cloud storage resources
  • Create high- and low-level design diagrams and technical specifications documentation
  • Develop storage connectivity patterns and establish standard access models and patterns of use
  • Engineer robust high-availability and disaster recovery patterns
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues between cloud resources and on-premises infrastructure
  • Align with cloud stakeholders and customers to develop new capabilities and feature enhancements
  • Assist in the deployment and troubleshooting of new platforms that leverage cloud infrastructure services
  • Develop and document deployment plans for cloud services to be consumed by release and application teams
  • Analyze potential security issues and develop remediation plans to ensure a secure and stable environment
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure automation with a solid development background
  • Solid understanding and experience with public cloud environments
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline technologies and code release processes
  • Experience with CI/CD/infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Experience with public cloud storage technologies and storage backup technologies
  • Solid scripting skills
  • Experience working with network segmentation designs in cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Practical administration experience working with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
