Position Overview

As a Personal Care Aide at Lotus Integrative Health Incorporated, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate support to patients in a healthcare setting. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the comfort and well-being of those in your care.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Provide meal assistance, including serving food and feeding patients as necessary.
  • Support patients with mobility by lifting, turning, and positioning them safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and bedding.
  • Oversee and encourage patients in their exercise routines.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers as required.
  • Respond promptly to patient call signals to address their needs.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations when necessary.

  • Attention to detail is essential in all aspects of care.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods during shifts.
