**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Full cycle accounting experience from data input to final financial statement and tax returns
  • Complete CRA filings such as HST and payroll remittances, etc.
  • Contact CRA on behalf of clients as needed
  • Stay up to date on relevant accounting standards and CPD training requirements
  • The ability to interpret CRA correspondence and communicate it to clients
  • Audit experience would be an asset
  • Varying accounting tasks as needed
  • Ability to communicate and work as a team

**Requirements**

  • Software proficiency in: MS Excel, Word, Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, Caseware, and Taxprep
  • 3-5 years public accounting experience in Canada
  • Strong technical expertise and analytical skills
  • Ability to detect and solve problems
  • Can complete files efficiently with a few review notes
  • Able to communicate well with clients both verbally and in writing

**Ideal Candidate**

The right candidate should have proven experience in similar roles and must have a CPA designation.

Bilingualism and experience in a professional services firm will be considered an asset.
