At Willis Towers Watson, we're seeking a talented Actuarial Intern to join our Retirement consulting team. As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on real client assignments, develop your technical and industry knowledge, and gain valuable experience in a close-knit and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in designing, funding, pricing, and implementing retirement programs
- Conduct competitive benchmarking analysis of benefit plan designs
- Develop professional expertise in retirement plans, including asset/liability modeling and actuarial pension valuations
- Collaborate with consultants to provide technical actuarial and consulting support on projects
- Progress towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- Progress towards ASA or ACIA designation through the SOA or CIA
- Strong technical and client service skills, with a passion for problem-solving and sharing solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
- A comprehensive actuarial exam study program, including paid study hours and exam coaching
- A close-knit and supportive team environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development
