Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Ricky's Food & Gas. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing advice on merchandise and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Sales Transactions: Conduct sales transactions through our electronic commerce system, maintaining accurate records and handling customer payments.
- Inventory Management: Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient inventory management.
- Merchandise Preparation: Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, ensuring it is properly displayed and easily accessible to customers.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
- Mentorship Programs: We offer mentorship programs that pair employees with experienced colleagues, providing opportunities for growth and development.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Our mentorship programs pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees, helping them to settle into their new roles and communities.
- Support for Youth, Veterans, Indigenous People, and Visible Minorities: We offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for these groups, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
