Job Opportunity: Senior Security Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Consultant to join our Cybersecurity Services squad at Gallagher Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing risk, driving cybersecurity innovation, and enabling our product development squads to build secure software.

About the Role

As a Senior Security Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing security and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and improve the security posture of our products.
  • Staying up-to-date with current and emerging threats to ensure our products remain secure.
  • Building strategic relationships within the security community to establish Gallagher as a thought leader in cyber-physical security.
  • Providing technical leadership and expertise for cybersecurity initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in computing-related studies and/or relevant industry certification with practical transferable skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a background in penetration testing.
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, security testing, and coding/scripting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise documents describing processes or problems.
  • Ability to evaluate and articulate the impact of product anomalies and set appropriate classifications.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with development teams, security researchers, and the wider security community.
