We are seeking a skilled and experienced truck driver to join our team at American Iron and Metals (AIM). The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 4-axle truck safely and efficiently, making long-distance trips in the North Shore, lower river, and Montreal areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a 4-axle truck safely and efficiently;
- Make long-distance trips in the North Shore, lower river, and Montreal areas;
- Use different types of trailers such as dumper, cauldron, and carcasses;
- Respect the highway code and other regulations in force;
- Provide excellent customer service;
- Keep your equipment clean and in good condition;
- Keep the various registers up to date.
- Valid class 1 driving license;
- Good driving record;
- At least 1 year of experience as a driver;
- Experience on roll off (an asset).
- Health and Safety Awareness;
- Sense of organization and responsibility;
- Excellent physical condition;
- Reliability, diligence, and punctuality;
- Good road knowledge of the province of Quebec;
- Respect for equipment and tools;
- Customer service skills.
- Permanent and full-time position;
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday;
- Possibility of working overtime;
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.
