Senior Cyber Security Analysis and Reporting Specialist

49 Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Analysis and Reporting Specialist to join our team in response to a Request for Consultant from the Bank of Canada (BoC). As a key member of our Cyber team, you will assist in the coordination of reporting processes and protocols, participate in governance meetings, analyze metrics and qualitative findings, and contribute to other related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate reporting processes and protocols to ensure timely and accurate delivery of results
  • Participate in governance meetings to provide expert insights and recommendations
  • Analyze metrics and qualitative findings to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality, informative materials (e.g. PowerPoint, Canvas)
  • Communicate complex data to all levels of the organization, including executive level

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Professional certifications (CISM, CRISC)
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated cybersecurity risk management and metric analysis experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in project management and governance within cybersecurity
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity risk and metrics analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in storytelling and presenting high-quality materials
  • Bank of Canada Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance

Assets:

  • Demonstrated experience with Excel and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a 3 Lines of Defense Model
