Customs Agent Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customs Agent to join our team at Ceva Logistics. As a Customs Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth clearance of client shipments and merchandise delivery while maintaining a high level of service, profitability, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to clients' inquiries regarding customs clearance and follow up on any issues.
  • Prepare, clear, and classify air, ocean, and ground shipments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of costs related to customs clearance.
  • Comply with laws and regulations of various governments and ISO standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide superior service.
  • Notify supervisors of any issues or problems in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Two to three years of related experience in customs clearance or a related field.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
