Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Guard to join our team at Paladin Security in Ponoka, AB. As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide access control and monitor restricted areas of the facility.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarm activations and security breaches.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents.
  • Monitor patient safety and document incidents as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
