Structural Engineer Opportunity

Tulloch is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Parry Sound. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform design and analysis of buildings, bridges, and other new and existing structures
  • Review, check, and approve technical deliverables including reports, technical notes, drawings, and engineering calculations
  • Prepare plans, proposals, specifications, supporting documents, reports, and permit applications
  • Prepare tenders, proposals, and cost estimates
  • Perform construction inspection
  • Assist with project management and construction administration
  • Liaise with clients, build client relations, and advance business development
  • Participate in public and stakeholder consultation
  • Oversee and mentor Engineering Interns and co-op students
Requirements:
  • P.Eng. licence (required)
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in the civil/structural consulting industry
  • Bridge design experience is an asset
  • Extensive Building Code knowledge and/or a BCIN is considered an asset
  • Experience providing mentorship and advice to those on your team
  • Ability to make decisions and exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives
