Are you someone who enjoys staying active and engaging with the community? Canada Post offers a fantastic opportunity for a temporary on-call delivery representative.
Position Overview:
- Begin your day at the postal facility by organizing and preparing mail for distribution.
- Operate a postal vehicle to transport mail and packages to various recipients.
- Work outdoors, delivering mail and parcels by foot or vehicle, regardless of weather conditions.
- Receive and prepare incoming mail and packages for subsequent delivery.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Class 5 or G driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Capability to lift and carry mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and parcels up to 15.9 kg (35 lb).
- Availability for on-call shifts as needed.
- Fluency in English or French is required.
- Experience in customer service and delivery or driving is advantageous.
