Stone Product Manufacturer

Join our team at Caveman Granite And Quartz Ltd. as a Quartz Fabrication Specialist. This permanent position offers a dynamic work environment where you will engage in the production of high-quality stone products.
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset
- Construct clay models and molds for casting stone products.
- Utilize blade or wire saws to accurately cut stone blocks to specified dimensions.
- Document manufacturing details including quantity, size, and type of products produced.
- Set up and operate machinery for mixing ingredients, extruding clay mixtures, and cutting them into sections.
- Adjust and operate single-function machines for mixing, drilling, grinding, and cutting stone to meet specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products.
- Safely transport products using forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists.
- Operate equipment to grind and polish stone surfaces to achieve desired shapes and finishes.
- Perform regular machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Position reinforcing materials in molds as required.
- Prepare and mix slip for pottery and porcelain production.
- Fill molds with concrete and slip for product formation.
- Drill holes in stone blocks or slabs according to specifications.
- Finish stone products with paint and by installing bases or plaques.
- Carefully remove castings from molds.
