About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health Information Processing Section Head to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the Health Information Processing section and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health Information Processing section, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Supervise and provide training to staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Monitor staffing levels and workload patterns, ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Act as a technical and clinical resource to staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Provide budgetary input and monitor operating expenditures, ensuring fiscal accountability.
  • Participate in safety programs and promote safe work practices.
  • Develop and foster effective relationships with colleagues and external agencies.

Requirements
