Job Title: Welder

Ontario Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including brakes, shears, and metal shaping machines.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in welding and metal fabrication is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Work in a team environment with regular communication and collaboration.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Hours of Work:

30 to 40 hours per week.
