Position Summary
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring accurate and safe prescription dispensing while providing exceptional patient care. This role involves various responsibilities, including verifying safe medication administration, assessing and dispensing critical medications, responding promptly to palliative care prescriptions, and coordinating drug deliveries with our team.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate, safe, timely, and complete medication dispensing.
- Complete daily tasks according to established workplace policies and procedures.
- Consult with pharmacy management when facing unresolved issues related to daily operations.
- Provide outstanding customer service to CareRx Pharmacy patients and home partners.
- Communicate effectively with the resident care team, maintaining professionalism by adhering to corporate policies to ensure the highest standard of customer care and pharmacy service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident medication records.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication management.
Qualifications
