Job Title: Security Officer

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and report all incidents of criminal activity, suspicious activity, and hazardous situations.
  • Provide access control and ensure the security of our facilities.
  • Conduct proactive patrols of the terminal stops and platforms to deter and prevent prohibited acts.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
  • Ability to work alone or in a team, and to de-escalate crisis situations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Three (3) year Security Guard experience in a municipal government or corporate environment.
  • Post-Secondary education in a related field would be an asset.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as Customer Service Skills.
  • Must possess a valid Security License for the Province of Ontario.
  • Must possess a current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Physical Demands: excessive walking, standing, exposed to all weather conditions and extreme temperatures.

Certification Requirements: Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, Valid Ontario Security License
